Substitute Policy
Substitute Players on Teams
Captains are responsible for maintaining a healthy roster. Sometimes that means finding substitute players to fill in.
✅ Anyone is welcome to sub as long as:
- They’re on the team roster
- They’ve completed their online profile
There’s no extra fee for substitute players on a team.
Substitute Players on Individual Teams
Individual teams are assigned with enough players for the season, but life happens! If someone can’t make it, the Captain should keep the roster healthy by finding a sub.
✅ Same rule applies:
- They must be on the roster
- They must complete their online profile
No extra fee for subs on individual teams either.
Subbing in Other Leagues
Want more game time? Awesome! We encourage members to join our free Subs Group on Facebook. It’s a great way to find extra games and teams across our leagues.
Subbing Within Your Own League
Players cannot borrow players from other teams in the same league. Doing so affects league integrity and creates imbalance.
❗If this happens, your team will forfeit the game. See below for details.
Forfeiting Due to In-League Subs
If you don’t have the minimum number of players for your sport, you may borrow players from another team in the same league to get a game going—but the result will be a forfeit.
Your opponent then chooses whether the game is:
- Forfeit Legit – Opponent agrees to count the actual game score
- Forfeit Friendly – Score is recorded as a loss based on our Forfeit & Default Policy
